Yes I brought my jumper this time round. First person I saw today was Paula. She never fails to ask me what pattern my earrings were.

Polyfest plans were cancelled due to the weather. Thanks to the weather most of the activities were indoors. We had face-painting, puzzles, drawing and painting, making your favourite animal cutting and DVDS! Nat is the only person in first steps that I enjoy working with. She’s down to earth and we were talking about how we had to wear fugly clothes to kindy just incase paint got on our clothes. And she dreads going to the supermarket after cuz she would look all yucky with paint on her hair. I had to do the rubbish picking today in the backyard, gosh I didn’t know what weird stuff were chucked back there. Seriously, things you wouldn’t imagine a child to play with.

The best part of the day was face-painting. Famous face paint was the cat!
They looked so adorable, but it didn’t last long. The children started rubbing their faces and paint started going into their eyes. I had another round of piggy-back riding today! My back is hurting really bad. Sometimes I wonder if I should switch to primary teaching.

Mum told me that her colleague said that EC is fun but all you do is get paid for making sure that their child play and have fun. Its more like a childcare centre. Me thinking it was like k1 and k2 but no its childcare. K1 and K2 is year 1 and 2 and that falls under primary teaching! I want to teach basics and not watch the kids play (even tho its so much fun). However when I do the degree, I have to do learn the curriculum for year 1- 6. But when I start teaching, I can choose to teach the lower levels. Coolio, I have to think very carefully now!

Sisters love hogging the computer, FML!
